The Privacy Act 1988 defines personal information as '....information, about an individual whose identity is apparent or can be reasonably ascertained from the information or opinion'.

West Coast Phones acknowledges and respects the privacy of individuals, business entities, charities & other institutions and warrants that all information received of a personal nature will be dealt with in accordance with the Privacy Act. West Coast Phones, it's shareholders, employees and officially nominated agents are dedicated to maintaining your privacy. We will maintain confidentiality and non-disclosure of personal or company information at all times EXCEPT where required by law.

Database and Mailing Lists

Your personal details will be held in various databases and mailing lists both in printed and electronic format. This information will NOT be supplied to any 3rd parties except as dictated above. All data held will be stored in an environment where reasonable precautions have been taken to prevent unauthorised access. However, we regret that we can not be held liable if information is illegally retrieved by outside parties such as through virus infection or security loopholes. We will constantly review security procedures to try and prevent such infractions.

Site Visit Data

This website is operated by us with occasional outsourced technical assistance. When visiting this site, a record of your visit is logged. Information is recorded for statistical purposes and is used by ourselves to monitor the use of the site, and to make improvements. The information we log when you access our website is:
